"Passion and emotion come together in a sensuous fusion of classical elegance, Latin American rhythms and Spanish melodies"

Internationally acclaimed guitarist Daniel Salazar, whose interpretations of the Spanish classical guitar repertoire have been praised throughout the US, Mexico, Spain and Europe, marks a new phase in his career with his new recording. In his continued effort to expand the guitar's repertoire, Daniel Salazar has developed a new musical style that features the classical guitar combined with an ensemble of guitars, bass, keyboards, Latin percussion, and orchestral instruments, resulting in a refreshingly original contemporary sound. The new disc, titled "Daniel Salazar", is already receiving numerous requests on the international Internet radio station, www.beethoven.com.

Daniel, who has studied guitar with the some world's foremost classical masters, has also been influenced by various other styles, including traditional and popular Latin American music, Spanish flamenco and even American Rock. His new music now brings many of these elements together with this exciting new project.

Daniel Salazar has performed throughout the US and abroad, including concerts throughout Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union as United States Artistic Ambassador.

Daniel Salazar's best selling debut Compact Disc, "Malagueña!" was released in 1996 and features the premiere recording of Lecuona's universally famous music of the same name, especially arranged for guitar and orchestra. The disc is also available at Cd Baby.
