CADAQUES was founded in 1999. Put together in association with Jayme Munoz on flamenco guitar, Dan Mowery on bass, and Steve Metz on drums and backing vocals and Hector Vasquez on flamenco guitar and lead vocals, in an attempt to incorporate Latin jazz with American jazz. CADAQUES came about when Dan Mowery and Jayme Munoz met in 1998. Jayme was playing in a band that Dan answered a classified ad to join. That band was playing a more rock or electric style of Latin music with English vocals. After some changes in personnel and the addition of Steve Metz on drums and vocals, CADAQUES was becoming a band. Enter longtime friend of Jayme, Hector Vasquez. Hector was added as lead vocalist and as second classical guitar in late 1999. His addition to the band has brought an even balance that every band looks for but seldom finds. His imaginative song writing, catchy choruses and Spanish vocals, adds to the CADAQUES sound you hear on their CD. Check out the artist's website: http://www.cadaquesmusic.com Track List: 1.
