Lourdes Simón was born in Havana, Cuba. As a child, she emigrated to Spain and then to Miami. She studied music, art, writing and theater in Spain, Miami and Puerto Rico. Her professional experience includes musical performances, performance poetry, dramatic and musical theater. She has showcased her musical and theatrical talents in Puerto Rico, Italy, Colombia, Portugal, Argentina and Chile. "La Simón" performs her poems and sings in theaters and local bars captivating the night scene with her thought-provoking verse and intensely sensuous style, "because there's a voice within me that will not be still," says Simón. She now resides in Puerto Rico. Lourdes Simón nació en la ciudad de La Habana, Cuba. En su infancia, emigró a España y después a Miami. Estudió música, arte, composición y teatro en España, Miami y Puerto Rico. Su recorrido artÃstico incluye presentaciones musicales, poesÃa dramatizada, teatro dramático y musical. "La Simón" se ha presentado en Puerto Rico, Italia, Colombia, Argentina y Chile y actúa en clubes y teatros de la ciudad cautivando al público nocturno con sus atrevidos versos y un estilo único y sensual, "porque hay una voz dentro de mà que no se está quieta," dice Simón.
