Iris Campos was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Develop her vocal education at the University of Puerto Rico Choir. Her first record was done in 1999 with good aceptance. This first record was about folk music only, but now she present her second record with a blend of folk and popular music: bolero, danza, plena and décimas. The record title El Sol de mi Cielo is a folk song (aguinaldo) with a flamenco flavor.
