FERNANDO ALARCON started his piano autodidactic studies at a very young age and subsequently finalized his academic studies in harmony with the help of prestigious musicians from his native country, Venezuela, and the Austrian Jazz Piano Master, Gerry Weil. During the decade of the 80's, conformed his first Latin American group, "SABOR LATINO", performing a vast range of Latin American music in shows and concerts at different locations. During the 90's, he dedicated his time, talent and effort to the musical production of Jingles Advertising and performed as an arranger in a TV station. Parallel to that, he developed his phase as a composer, in which "love" was the main theme. With the maturity of his vocal conditions and the strength of his compositions, Fernando Alarcón initiated in the year 2000, the forming of his new orchestra and the production of his first CD titled " AMOR DE ESTRELLAS ". Containing 10 gifted songs of beautiful meaning and of classical LATIN AMERICAN rhythm dances, like La Charanga, El Bolero , El Chachachá, El Danzón, La Bomba from Puerto Rico , La Salsa, El Bosanova and La Samba, all exquisitely arranged by the notable Venezuelan musicians Pedro Mauricio González and Alberto Naranjo. Alarcón delights us with his beautiful voice and music, sharing with us a part of his soul. All tracks written and composed by Fernando Alarcón except "Trópico de Cáncer" by Jorge Spiteri.
