BiografÃa (español) Elmer Cortez, tambien conocido como El Cortez, nacio un 2 de Diciembre en San Salvador, El Salvador. Este artista le canta a la vida tanto como al amor; a Dios, tanto como a las mujeres. Su primera cancion la escribio entre los 14 y 15 años: "Era bien erotica -confiesa riendo- decia algo como 'quiero tenerte, decirte te amo, amarte despacio y hacerte mia'... nunca pense en lo que decia la cancion, la escribi porque me nacio pero nunca la analice hasta que alguien me lo dijo". Hoy dia Elmer cuenta con mas de 200 canciones, algunas de las cuales ha tenido la oportunidad de escuchar en la voz de otros interpretes. Con tres producciones discograficas en su haber, Elmer empieza a cosechar frutos de su esfuerzo y talento: La cancion “Mujer prohibida†de su ultimo material “De todo un poco†se encuentra en los primeros lugares de popularidad en Centro America. La popularidad de dicha cancion ha crecido tanto que el video de la misma se transmite ya en Los Estados Unidos, Mexico, Australia y en Centro América. Biography (English) Elmer Cortez, also known as El Cortez, was born on December 2nd in San Salvador, El Salvador. It was an erotic song that made him discover his natural talent to write songs. “I want to have you and tell you I love you, I want to love you softly and make you mineâ€â€¦ Those words did not sound as sensual as they are at the time since Elmer was still very young. But those words made Elmer discover his sensibility towards love, woman, the world and everything around him. Now, Elmer has composed more than 200 songs, some of which he has had the opportunity to listen to in the voice of other singers.
