Roberta Thomas, a native Chicagoan, began her singing career at a very young age as a member of the Thomas Family Singers where she astounded audiences with electrifying spirit-filled vocals. Roberta honed and fine-tuned her talents singing alongside many of the gospel world's most renown artists. Her unique talents blossomed as she toured and concertized throughout the United States and Europe. Dedicated to spreading the gospel in song throughout the world, Roberta Thomas has taken her singing ministry to such diverse places as Portugal, Spain, Italy, Sicily, Germany and Switzerland. Roberta's unlimited wealth of knowledge of the gospel genre, as well as her adept ability in recognizing and reproducing all the subtle nuances that differentiate the numerous gospel styles are well-known within the gospel recording industry. As background singer, vocal arranger, and featured guest artist, Roberta can be heard on dozens of recordings from James Cleveland to R. Kelly.
