The Muse comes to musicians in different ways. Often it is related to what happended to them during there day. If a musician has a bad day at the office it is apt to be reflected in the music he makes that evening. Hence my music is influenced by my mood when I sit down at the piano. There are several selections that have a beautiful peaceful melody line. There is also music that has a dark side with sparse melodic treatment and much dissonance. THE COLOR OF RAIN is about the tears and anguish of abused children. I think most of us have experienced joy, love, evil, even if only thru viewing the evening network news. In the end I work for you. If I do a good job and you like my music, I earn a paycheck every week. I am honored and humbled at once by the folks who buy my music.
