Anointed 2 Praise "The Jones", is a gospel group comprised of 5 siblings, born in the State of Washington to Pastor Robert and Debbie Jones. They all are members of their parents church, Lively Hope Church Of God In Christ. They began singing at an early age. Presently, they range in age from 16 to 27 years. Rosetta is the youngest at 16, she was not on the first CD, but has worked hard for her place in the group with her beautiful voice. Rochelle the oldest daughter who is 23, is the main songwriter and composer of this unique contemporary gospel sound. Rochelle enjoys writing songs of hope, love and inspiration that flows from God's heart to His people. Rosalynn 21,has her own distinctive sound, that has been compared to Karen Clark-Sheard. Ronelle 20, adds a certain flavor to the group with his charismatic style and charm. Romone who is 27, plays the organ and helps Rochelle put the music with the words. He also is a minister of God's Word. They all are gifted and anointed by God! Anointed 2 Praise have ministered in many different locations around the Pacific Northwest including California, Indiana, Nevada and Oregon. For years they have song at countless church programs and public school functions, blessing the hearts of young and old. Some of their many highlights was singing with Dorinda Clark Cole, singing before Karen Clark- Sheard, Prophetess Juanita Bynum, John P. Kee, Juanita Wynn and Dr. Norman Hutchins. They sang at Seattle's Key Arena after a Storms game. Their greatest thrill is singing and seeing souls edified through their music. They also are blessed when they go and sing for the sick and shut-in. Completing a multiple single CD, in December 2001 "Oh Give Thanks" was a great experience and accomplishment for these anointed young people.
