"Learning the Seasons with Little Goat" is a gentle musical adventure for 2-5 year olds which encourages imaginative play and thoughtfulness. In this CD, Little Goat, who lives on a farm in Maine, takes children on a narrated musical journey through the four seasons. In every season, each action (chasing butterflies, snow falling, eating pumpkin rinds) is represented by a different musical theme and instrument. At the end of each season, the musical themes are tied together in an ensemble to create each season's "symphony." Little Goat Productions believes that music is all around us, that it is an integral part of us, from birth to eternity. We hear music in almost everything we do and experience, from the rhythm of street noise, to the sound of the ocean surf, to the meow of a cat.
