A folk singer since shortly after birth, she has “seen and sung†it all – from pop and jazz to the classics. She is the founder of a language and music enrichment program for hearing infants and toddlers called Baby Sing & Sign®. Through her classes, she shares information about the benefits of music, sign language and play for young children. A graduate of the University of Kansas, Anne earned a Ph.D. in music education and music therapy. She holds national board certification in music therapy from the American Music Therapy Association. Anne lives in Olathe, Kansas, where she enjoys spending time with her husband, three sons and Wheaten terrier, Cooper. The second edition of her book and music CD, Baby Sing & Sign ®: A Play-Filled Language Development Program for Hearing Infants and Toddlers (2004) is ready and available. Her newest product is a music CD for children two to 99 years, and is called Bright-Eyed and Bushy-Tailed: More Songs to Sing and Sign with Kids and Kritters.
