Hi, I'm Angie Williams, and I'm a kid-in-an-adult-body. You too, huh? In my adult life, I am a music teacher and a volunteer with underprivileged children in inner-city Hamilton, Ontario. My 2 albums, "Wish I Could Fly" and "Ketchup & Mustard" (That's the same as "catsup" for my American friends) were born out of a desire to minister to children's spirits through contemporary music. Not all the songs are spiritual --- for example, the Hot Dog song is all about, well, hotdogs --- but all the songs are tuned in to what it's like being a kid. You remember... pretending to fly, fighting with the kid next door, wishing for a dog... And some of the songs have to do with God's great love for all his children, no matter who they are! Most importantly, none of these songs has anything to do with the adult-centred, highly sexualized pop culture that encourages our little ones to behave like teenagers at age 6. Let them be kids!
