"Hoppin' & Boppin'" is dubbed part of the "Smart Moves Series" by educators. Children sing and dance to this captivating music with educational, interactive lyrics that keep them stretching, snapping their fingers, giggling, choo-chooing like trains, mimicking facial expressions, hopping like bunnies, and skipping to kid's favorite songs and lullabies. Some songs even have a bilingual twist. Before long, youngsters are singing, moving various parts of their body, and following simple directions - all while identifying colors that surround them, counting off from 1-20, and scaling their ABCs. It's so much fun; they don't even know they're learning. Featured in Scholastic's "Early Childhood Today" Magazine, this CD in the series takes children 'Hoppin' Boppin'" through another 30-minutes of action-style songs. NO COUCH POTATOES HERE! Recommended for children age toddler and up. A quick-view educational guide is in the cover of each music CD. Lyrics and free educational activities are available at AbridgeClub.com. Also available: "Movin' & Shakin' for Youngsters". "Animal Romp" is another interactive, educational CD in the series that teaches children about wildlife, animal characteristics and facts. Look for these titles on VHS or DVD. From the Producers: This interactive music series is designed to ramp kids up safely, focus on gross motor skills, and keep them up and moving until it is time to wind down...a 30-minute process. Additionally, the songs in the series educate children about facial expressions, body parts, letters, movement, colors, bathing, direction, instruments and other concepts in pre-K and kindergarten curriculum. All directions are easy-to-follow, and the movements can be modified according to a child's physical ability. As producers, we have been recognized by companies such as Scholastic, associations such as NAPPA, and representatives from HeadStart for the quality, educational value and/or gross motor skill development that our titles offer. The Surgeon General reminds us that as our society becomes more sedentary, television, computer and video games contribute even more to children's inactive lifestyles. Children perceive that the most immediate result of being overweight is social discrimination, which is associated with poor self-esteem and depression. The key is to keep kids physically active for at least 60-minutes a day, and this CD surely helps achieve that goal. Check out the artist's website: http://www.abridgeclub.com Track List: 1. Intro 2.
