Solomon Grundy has established itself as Southern California's premier jamband in the past seven years.

The group blends eclectic musical elements to form a sound which is uniquely Solomon Grundy.

Although predominantly Rock, Jazz, and Funk, Solomon Grundy ventures into wide arrays of musical styles, including Blues, Latin, Bluegrass, and Classical, to stretch their musical boundaries.

Solomon Grundy has headlined and opened for such national touring acts as JGB (Jerry Garcia Band), Traffic, Vince Welnick's missing Man Formation, Jazz is Dead, The Mother Hips, and Merl Saunders and the Rainforest Band at such venues as the House of Blues in Hollywood, the Galaxy Theater, and the Coach House and at major Music Festivals including Baja Bash in Salsipuedes, Mexico and Desert Party and Medicine Shows.

Follow the Tide takes its title from one of the cuts off the album and features many of the Grundy classics, including Chin Vat Bridge, the rockin' funky Brother Love, the Latin-tinged Chips and Salsa, and ethereal groove-based So Close Yet So Far.

Other songs included on the disc are Dawn to Dusk, Changes, the jazz-blues ballad Black Key Jam, and the mythological themed She Comes at Night, Helios, and the title track.

Produced and recorded by the band over a span of two years, Follow the Tide establishes Grundy as an already honed studio act as well as an energetic, slammin' live band.
