Greetings, thank you for checking out Percussive Premonition. I hope you enjoy hearing the snipits. The basic concept of this CD recording is percussion composition. There are 28 tracks ranging from 1 - 4 mins or so. The order in which they flow from one to another is significant. My backround is jazz drumming. Although I also play several percussion instruments I gravitate to the Roland Handsonic, and other Roland Percussion, which this recording consists of. I am joined on 9 tracks by Cecilia Coleman ( A very fine jazz piano player I might add ). In which she co writes and plays the Roland RS 50 Synth on. I play the organ on the only cover tune on this recording titled" Afro Blue" which was written by the late Mongo Santamaria. I believe that the sound clips will speak for the music better than I can at this point.
