Robert has been a vital part on the west coast jazz scene since he began performing and recording in Los Angeles in the early 80's. He has released five solo albums featuring original compositions performed primarily on his soulful tenor saxophone. In addition to his own shows, Robert tours worldwide as the band leader and musical director for blues diva Linda Hopkins and her highly successful "Wild Women Blues" show. Well known as a unique creative force in the recording studio, Robert's trademark sound is heard on many albums, television soundtracks and film scores, and his composition "Pocketful 'O Trouble" from his album "Blue Winds" is featured in the T.V. show "E.R.". In addition to his U.S. releases, Robert is a featured solo artist on Lipstick Jazz Compilation #4 sold throughout Europe. Robert is a deeply committed musician, having a life long love affair with the saxophone, and inviting you to join him on his musical journey.
