My friend, Wally Dunbar, has created a set of super scores, full of interesting lines and well balanced voicings_intelligent without being ponderous, swinging without being slight. I loved every track I heard! Wally is a gifted composer and arranger who has put this superb project together with a lot of great musical insight and sensitivity. Each soloist is featured in a framework perfectly suited to that particular player, and at no time does the listener get bored, in any way.
