Barbone Street's 6 musicians paid their dues a half century ago with some of the finest jazz players of the 20th century. The band formed 15 years ago and has a uniquely different style of New Orleans Jazz. One that features improvisation, a link to the blues based bands of Kansas City and an appreciation for Chicago and New York stylistic additions.

The result? Well, as Sydney Arzt, owner of one of the top jazz nightclubs in the USA said after a recent performance there: "It is simply amazing how your music crosses all age groups. It is clearly a demonstration of the respect for the music and the musicians in Barbone Street. You have done a great thing.

And with over 200 gigs last year, perhaps we have. Here are the bios of the boys in the band.
