"I just love your rendition of "They Can't Take That Away From Me.".

Bio on All About Jazz:

Adelaide is a native Virginian and studied music at Shenandoah Conservatory of Music. She grew up in a jazz family.

"My father played trumpet in the Louis Armstrong style and jammed with Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey. As a young girl, I was exposed to great jazz - Fats Waller, Dave Brubeck, Stan Kenton, Maynard Ferguson ... Since I studied piano, jazz piano seemed to speak to me and my musical style sprouted when I listened to Sergio Mendez and Brasil '66. Lanie Hall really inspired me and eventually, I began to listen to other great singers like Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughan, Ella, Sammy Davis. Sammy could lead horn sections with his vocal certainty and rhythmic push."

Adelaide and her trio perform jazz standards from the thirties and forties. Her new release, "Come Fly With Me" is her debut recording, to be released in July on the Pentagram label.

While Adelaide resides and performs in the DC metro area, she travels for performances and is available for bookings through Pentagram Records.
