After earning a Master of Arts in Music Composition I wanted to do something to prove my musical chops.

I had already written music for the U.S. Navy, Sacramento State jazz ensemble, Mora's Modern Rhythmists, John Peace Super Band, Hal Willis Band, Bones West, the Irvine Community Band, and numerous other groups.

I decided it was time to go into the studio and record some of my charts.

"The Rat On My Piano" was actually started as a demo, but I had so many compliments and requests to get a copy that I decided to release the CD instead.

I am the kind of person who likes variety and my CD reflects that; hence the group name "The Eclectophonics Jazz Ensemble."

This is an eclectic group of tunes with a variety of orchestrations and styles.

Each person I talk to tells me of a favorite tune, and it's seldom the same as the person before, which suggests each person's difference in taste.

So listen and enjoy. I'm sure you'll find a favorite of your own!
