Doug Perry is a singing song writing drummer who worked in cincinnati and on the road with many styles of bands until forming his own, the Doug Perry ensemble in 1998. Having played on the same stage with johnny winter and buddy guy, Doug's musical background ranges from blues to r+b to eastern european new age. This eclectic mix is the life blood of the music that he writes. His music offers haunting melody with strong grooves and always a message of hope. Doug is also a visual artist.
