Nick has got to be one the least likely guys you'll find in smooth jazz. His young, carefree personality in his song-writing immediately displaces him amongst the stale smooth jazz-sound on the airwaves.

Growing up musically playing recording and performing in a lot of rock bands has really altered Nick's sense as a jazz artist. Rock is where he gets his fresh perspective and funky attitude, offering a sincerity and honesty to his music. Red Vinyl is mix of everything Nick has learned in life over the years. His fist time out as a solo artist, Nick put everything he could into writing the most awesome bestest grooviest, chock full of single chord songs, slighty pornographic to point of almost laughing, but smiling slighty, album ever! He laughed the entire time recording it and he hopes the world will share in his laughter and spread the smiles around.

Nick was born in San Pedro, CA then spent a good part of adolesence and teenage life in the lovely Palos Verdes, CA. After graduating from high school in 2000 he received a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where had the wonderful opportunity to learn the ropes of the smoothness from the great Walter Beasley himself. He had no idea Walter would come on out with a hit song called "Coolness". For this Nick apologizes for "Hotness" "Fatness" and "Thickness".
