The North Beach Sound is a wonderful album! San Francisco Chronicle Music Critic Phil Elwood referred to Ned as "a wonderful guitarist". Ned was good (or smart) enough to send me a copy of "North Beach Sound" when it first came out. "North Beach Sound" is a really enjoyable CD: varied instrumentation, tracks not too long. I must concede that, since I don't care to audition music on the air I might have stayed away from Ned's recording altogether had he not been "smart". That would have been my loss.
