This Cd takes you on a journey that basically goes like this: From an island to a sweat lodge, to the top of a mountain down to Mexico, up into the atmosphere, off to Venezuela, then a contemplative moment, to childhood, to Spain, to the military industrial complex, to sugar. People say that they like the versatility of styles of music in this one. I say "Wow, it sure is hard to mix such a wild combination of songs and make them sound cohesive", and somehow, we did it! I produced this CD following a nine-month stay in southern Illinois, where I was very cold most of the time and spent countless evenings waiting for my long-johns to emerge from the dryer. One evening after a rather plaintive plea to the source of creation, I was visited by the Blessed Virgin Mary herself, shimmering at the end of my bed.
