JIM MORAN is a pianist, composer, and educator, living in Hermitage P.A. His exciting collection, OUT OF BOUNDS, actually contains performances of 2 separate collections of Solo Piano Works. These pieces were written with the Intermediate pianist /student in mind. A TOUR OF SPAIN (Opus 12 #1~6), and AN AMERICAN STANDARD: JAZZ & BLUES (Opus 13 #1~6), are also available in book form. As a private piano instructor of more than 20 years, Jim saw the need to provide developing musicians with more music in the styles that appealed to the majority of piano students, than is readily available in publication. These beautifully crafted pieces offer a rich and rewarding array of textures in their respective styles, yet they are technically well within the reach of pianists with 5 or more years of playing experience.
