David Williams is a professional composer working in film and television in Los Angeles California. He has composed the scores for dozens of films in many genres and includes Dimension's "THE PROPHECY" starring Christopher Walken and Viggo Mortensen, Dean Koontz' "PHANTOMS" starring Ben Affleck and Peter O'Toole, and MGM's "SUPERNOVA" starring James Spader and Angela Bassett. Among his many other credits he has composed the scores to the A&E Original Movie "BENEDICT ARNOLD" starring Aidan Quinn, FOX's military drama "A GLIMPSE OF HELL" starring James Caan, NBC's "LA LAW: THE MOVIE", Artisan's "WISHMASTER II", HBO's "NO WAY BACK" starring Russell Crowe, and HBO's "BLUE TIGER" starring Virginia Madsen. "opal" is his first non-soundtrack album. It draws upon the musical styles of Bill Evans, Maurice Ravel, and Brad Mehldau. It is evocative, reflective, and intimate music for solo piano.
