David Baroni is a musician's musician. He plays by ear, or as they say in Mississippi where David was born, "by heart!" David's musical influences range from Herbie Hancock to Joe Zawinul, Joe Sample to Lyle Mays, Dave Grusin to Bill Evans. The FingerPaintings solo piano series, of which "Serenity is Volume 2, is a unique expression of unrehearsed, spontaneously inspired songs recorded at the time they were written! Usually, the most emotionally powerful performance is the first time a songwriter sings a new song.
