Actress Stefanie Powers began her formidable career as a dancer, auditioning for choreographer/director Jerome Robbins for the film of "West Side Story." Since that time, she has been no stranger to the musical theatre, most recently starring as Margo Channing in the revival of "Applause--The Musical All About Eve" and as Anna in "The King and I," in which she will tour the U.S. in 2005. In addition to singing,she is best known as the glamourous Jennifer Hart in the hit TV series "Hart to Hart" and for her animal conservation work as co-founder and president of the William Holden Wildlife Foundation.
