This new album (#3) recorded in Tennessee Nov.27th and 28th 2001, contains 12 songs written by Ervin. A timely Christmas song "Light Up My Life" (like you do the Christmas tree) is a song about a husband asking his wife to slow down and spend a little time together with him during the busy, sometimes too busy, holiday season. In browzing through the other titles you may think "that sounds like it could be about me" Check 'em out, and let me know if you think I am living in a vacumn or not. I have written songs since I was in high school;so I wrote a few more a year or so ago; decided to find a studio and record a few of them and then that was like priming the pump. I came out with several more and have a few more in the works. I started recording in the fall of 2000 and now have 3 albums on CDBABY. I have had the pleasure of meeting a lot of warm hearted, helpful people who are 'keeping their dreams alive" and all of these kindred spirits are an inspiration to me.
