This acoustic soul couple is poised to make a lasting mark on the music industry. DuVal's vibrant guitar licks fuse with Ave Maria's soothing vocals to produce a dynamic musical experience. Duval, a self taught musician, first picked up the guitar at the age of 13 when he started a garage band in Dallas, Texas. After honing his craft in the garage for a few years, DuVal aquired the skills and confidence to play for the congregation at his church. He eventually formed a Frankie Beverly cover band called Maze 2 that gigged for a number of years on the Dallas night club circuit. AveMaria, like so many of today's classic divas, developed her vocal talent in the church. Her primary source of musical inspiration comes from her parents: her father was a baptist minister and her mother played the piano and organ. AveMaria, a natural-born vocalist, began singing at the age of three...practically before she could talk. By the age of six, she performed regularly in several local gospel shows in Dallas. In high-school, AveMaria polished her God-given talent by studying classical voice and opera: She also earned a living while in college by performing in upscale hotel lounges. As fate would have it, DuVal & AveMaria crossed paths on the performance circuit, and they have been together for the last seven years. The relaese of their new single, " I'm Your's" is just a taste of what's to come.
