This is "lilting" jazz! Pianist Bevan Manson dazzles once again doing easy-to-take originals by Ron Ermini, and complementing them with his inimitable "Debussy-like" style and adventurous improvisations, and this time backs the superb vocals of Carla Zilbersmith on 6 tracks. Manson, who has performed with many other jazz greats, studied at the Eastman School of Music, and was the head of the Jazz Program at the University of California, Berkeley, until moving to Los Angeles recently. The rhythm section also backs stunningly accomplished Bruce Mishkit on jazz flute and saxophone, and consists of Glenn Mark Richman on bass and Tim Bulkley on drums; both of whom are among the most sought-after musicians. If you don't like this CD, Ermini will give you your money back! Track List: 1. Baby's Blues (voc) 2. Latin Eyes 3. When You've Had Enough (voc.) 4. When You've Had Enough 5. Belly Dancer (voc.) 6.
