The band was put together as a brain child by TJ who grew up in a house of music, TJ is from a small town in PA. called Meadville, 1 & 1/2hours north of Pittsburgh. His mother played piano for which he got his keyboard foundation. TJ's first love is the drums/percussion which he has played since the 4th grade.With his love of driving beat,it was only natural for him to learn electric bass. TJ has always participated in some type music activities. When he decided to take a break from playing instruments, he decided to collaborate with friends and become a mobile disc jockey. This allowed him to have a very versatile ear in music. TJ decided to try it again and here we are. The group loves to play and have fun. There is only one rule- keep it smooth and funky. The cd Matter over Mind is a funky studio jam put together after a couple years of open jam sessions at local clubs. It's pretty much a 70's funk with some improvisational keyboards and contemporary jazz style.Nice mellow slow songs(the single Night Journey sure sounds like Art of Noise-Moments in love). Over all a fun cd to dance around the house to or listen to on a long drive.(check out single I-79). "slunky" and "runnin' out of time" are good dance singles, while "What you won't do" is a cool jazzy improvisational remake. The cd has something for everybody! Enjoy.
