Sarah is a 21-year-old singer/songwriter from the southwest of England (UK), whose songs fuse jazz, soul and blues into her own brand of acoustic music. In her song writing she explores the breadth of influences she has grown up with, and is inspired by many different artists, such as Sheryl Crow, Meshell Ndegeocello, India Arie, Suzanne Vega, James Taylor, Dan Fogelberg and many more. She also finds that it is not only music that is inspiring in her own work, but all forms of art and expression, literature in particular.

Sarah has received praise from several BBC websites and radio stations around Great Britain for her "haunting vocal" quality and her "insightful, vulnerable and most importantly, believable" lyrics (Will Walder, BBC).

"If you get the chance to see her then I'd grab it with both hands".

The EP "Six Songs", which was released in May, is Sarah's first release. It was recorded in St Brides Church, Liverpool. The experience of recording in a Church was unusual to say the least, but created an atmosphere and ambience which would have been unattainable had the recording taken place solely in the studio.

Sarah was a finalist in the Musicians Benevolent Fund Awards For Song (2004) national competition and over the last year has played many venues around the Liverpool area. Most recently, Sarah completed a mini tour of the south-west of England (UK) playing live sessions on BBC and independent radio stations.
