Odyssey

This is a collection of music written and performed between 1984 and 1991-or-so, which would make me at that time between 30 and 37-or-so years old. The cover pic is from a concert in the summer of '86. My basic aesthetic at that time, basic 'musical mindset' was somewhere between rock and jazz(tho much more rock than jazz)as far as playing. This earlier me is definitely a 'rock guy' both in sound and approach. The compositions are more eclectic, however, and draw from other styles as well, including modern classical music. Listening back here in 2005, I'm finding it a nice combination of musical elements.
With the exception of "Thorazine Shuffle", all these pieces were originally recorded on a Teac 4-track cassette recorder and relatively recently converted to CD format(thanx to Michael Taylor for that one). Definitely vintage stuff. But then talk is cheap. Give a listen to some of the sound samples, and if you like what you hear, pick yourself up a copy.
