Silver Daddy is the third album by Oucho Sparks, but it is the first major release by this new group. The album starts off with "Gropus" and intense Emo-Prog epic with several phases of compostion and improvisation. In contrast, the follow up track "Mexico" is a 2 minute stint in a low fi psychedelic groove. "Customer Service" is a witty social commentary focusing through a humorous lens. "Dark Forest" is a low-bomp groove drawing from both traditional and avant garde elements of jazz. "5foot5" is a semi-electronic circle of harmonic flux. "In the Clouds" is another vocal based song drawing elements from Latin America and 70's fusion. "Beneath the Gown of Princess Zelda" is a 1 minute computer generated anthem. "Floigan" takes lounge jazz and mixes it with 80's wank metal.

Born out of the Chicago indie scene - Oucho Sparks draws from many local and distant influences. Frank Zappa, King Crimson, Tortoise, Godspeed You Black Emporor, John Zorn, Medeski Martin & Wood, The Rachels, and Ween are just a short list of influences.Oucho Sparks has removed all limits on composition allowing a maximum range of emotion and technical fluency. Robotic Street Jazz, Emo-Prog, and Laser Groove Vomit are all accurate descriptions.
