Roger Smith is the creative force behind Jazz Rosco. Currently keyboardist for the legendary funk and soul band from Oakland, California, Tower of Power, he has worked with music greats in a variety of genres from Coke Escovedo to The Temptations to Dave Koz; Roger is featured on the April 2003 Tower of Power CD, The Oakland Zone. Jazz Rosco is Hammond B-3 based, live sound. It simply percolates. Jazz Roscoe features Roger Smith's compositions and performances accompanied by such musical greats as guitarist Ray Obiedo and drummer Dave Garibaldi.
