Jazz Express is a dynamic four piece band. Guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums combine to create a mellow fusion sound. The band plays melodic music which contains elements of pop, jazz, funk, and latin music. The musical skills derived from years of experience combine to make music which will satisfy both the casual and the serious listener. Jazz Express was founded in the spring of 1990. The four musicians came together in search of greater self-expression. At weekly performances, they developed their style and material. By the fall of 1990, the band was playing all original material, mostly written by Rex Bell and Jeremy Cohen.
