While the band is full of experienced musicians who've been around the block (way more than once) they are determined to create something brand new: Instrumental music that has the widest appeal possible, although different styles are played through a rock lens. Fusion is often just jazz played with rock instruments. 30YRSL8 plays rock with a jazz-inspired sense of daring and improvisation, but make no mistake: this band rocks.
