MOMENTS ABOVE AND BEYOND This improvised music was played and recorded live in real time on several different pianos in different locations in homage to the great improvisers of our time and before, people like Keith Jarrett, in particular, along with Thelonius Monk, Bill Evans, Duke Ellington, Bud Powell, as well as classical impressionists like Debussy and Ravel. It is an adventure in exploration of the imagination, yielding fresh insights with each new listening, or hovering quietly behind other peaceful pursuits.
