4inObjects is a New York based jazz collective, featuring Yoon Sun Choi, Jacob Garchik, Jacob Sacks, Dave Ambrosio, and Dan Weiss. Although the current lineup dates to 2001, members of 4inObjects have played together since 1994. With such a long history, it would be easy for most musicians to fall into comfortable grooves. However 4inObjects prides itself on being unpredictable not only to the audience but also to each other. Every aspect of their material is subject to instantaneous alteration. Harmony, melody, rhythm, instrumentation, timbre, and even form are targets for inspection, manipulation, or ridicule.
