The Toucan Trio The Toucan Trio plays original modern Brazilian jazz and has performed at great east coast venues like Manhattan's Iridium, Small's, Boston's Regattabar, Musikfest Festival in PA and The Savannah Jazz Festival among others. The members are: Helio Alves on Piano: Performed with Joe Henderson, John Patitucci, Al Foster, George Mraz, Chico Buarque, Rosa Passos, Claudio Roditi, Paquito D'Rivera and Gato Barbieri. Fernando Huergo on Bass: Performed with Danilo Perez, Tom Harrell, Dave Liebman, Dave Weckl. Assist. Professor at Berklee college of Music since 1996. Steve Langone on Drums: Performed with Tiger Okoshi, Jerry Bergonzi , George Garzone, Baron Browne, Steve Hunt, John Lockwood and Oscar Stagnaro among others.
