This autumn sees the release of 'Ghost Looking' the eagerly awaited debut album from 'The John Davison Trio'. The album combines the diverse styles of three of the UKs top, up and coming jazz talents.
Marcus Penrose (Double Bass), graduate of the Guildhall University Jazz Course, is one of the leading lights of the new generation of contemporary jazz musicians on the London scene.
Andy Brodie (Guitar) is heavily influenced by the music of Django Reinhardt and the 1930s eastern European sound, giving his playing an unpredictable and original flavour. These two combined with the melodic and lyrical playing of John Davison (Soprano/Tenor Saxophones), drawing on influences from Swing to Bop lead to an unmissable and unique collection of original music.
