An active performer and educator, Gerry is a founding member of The Swinging Bovines and has performed in over 500 concerts across Canada, U.S. and Europe. A graduate of the University of Calgary, he has been featured on 14 CD recordings and performed in many of Calgary's leading musical productions including: The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, The Prime Time Big Band, The Calgary Stampede Grandstand Show, Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, West Side Story, A Chorus Line, Evita and The Banff Centre Jazz Orchestra. He has also performed with many leading local and international jazz musicians including: Rob McConnell, Moe Koffman, P.J. Perry, Hugh Fraser, Viviane Cardinal, Al Muirhead, Tim Tamashiro, Diana Krall, Bobby Shew, Guido Basso, Gary Guthman, Chris Potter, Kenny Werner, Dave Douglas, Alan Broadbent, and Maria Schneider.
