I was born in Fox Hills California November of 1977, raised in Inglewood California until March of 1991. O.R.I.G.I.N. was born in Van Nuys California April of 1996 on the day I realized just how important hip-hop was to me. I totally immersed myself into the hip-hop culture absorbing everything I could from every source imaginable. I've tried to develop a sound that cannot be classified into any one category, and subsequently can fit into any category needed at the time. The best way to describe my style is by explaining the meaning of my name, which is an acronym for the Oracle of Reality Investing Ghetto Insights Nonstop. Hip hop as a whole has been my insperation, i learned what to do from the the best and learned what not to do from the worst. Though my major influences were from 2pac and R&B songstress Aaliyah. I know what you're saying could those artists be any further from each other in terms of style and genre. to explain both would take too much time, so to sum it all up; 2pac gave me my voice and Aaliyah gave me the courage to use it.
