Before you check out the bio, listen to the music, and hopefully enjoy the clips enough to pick up the album, a personal note. Whether are a fan of Absolute Power or just stumbled across us here, this album was MADE for you. Thats not a sales pitch, it's a fact. We made this album for independent minds, those that are tired of the same ol same ol. The ones that don't want to here the same 10 simplistics songs on the radio all day. For music fans who NEED something different, alittle more intelligent, alittle more from the heart. Those willing to listen, to absorb a song. Those happy to hear something that seems to have additional meaning every listen. Vision and I call you "the Dirty Dozen". The handful of people willing to dig deep in order to find something special....something unknown. Like I said...."A Vision of Kings" is made for you......
now back to our regularly scheduled program.

the MoJoKing of A.P.

Absolute Power is Hip-Hop Music for the discriminating listener. The collaborative efforts of MoJo King and Vision cater to the audience of elitists who place originality as a higher priority than mass appeal.

As two of the five founding members of the Original Skills Foundation, the duo established themselves (along with Hemys, CL Mecca, and Flowtation) as Hip-Hop purists, placing conceptual wordplay and self-_expression above cliches and posturing.

Absolute Power lyrics are ripe with double-entendre, extended metaphor, and visual storytelling. The musical arrangements are kaleidoscopic juxtapositions of Jazz, Classical, African and Eastern aesthetics...just the way Hip-Hop should be.

In closing, this is not the honey-coated prostitution and bubblegum, violence you are used to. This is dope beats, ill rhyme, and nasty flows you would expect from 21st Century Hip-Hop Elitists.
