Life of Creativity( L.O.C ) exemplifies every aspect of the three member group from Lafayette, Louisiana. Since birth Jason "Ghost" Arceneaux, Brandon "Mr. Phat" Nezey, and Brandon " Brizquo" Briscoe all currently at the age of 22 , have been connected in many ways. Like brothers, they've grown up with each other musically and spiritually, developing a sound unlike no other from Louisiana. The south is known for its player, pimp and hustler" atmosphere. L.O.C delivers a fresh new image and style that shows a cleaner side of the "Dirty Dirty". L.O.C has released their second independent album entitled "Heavyweightaz". The mix of L.O.C.'s mainstream production and their non-explicit lyrics has drawn the attention of hip-hop fans of all ages. They decided in high school that they would earn the same respect from all audiences without the use of vulgarity, feeling that " it sets limits on your vocabulary". Their songs portray the average lifestyle of a young man growing up in the south. They focus on real life situations, dreams and consequences. Such songs as the title cut "Heavyweightaz" describes the typical fantasy of every young man's desire for flashy cars, wealth and fame. This shows that L.O.C. is still young at heart and enticed by the rich and famous lifestyle they see everyday. "Fried Okra" is the song that isolates Louisiana from the rest of the south coast for its culture, main attractions and the southern hip hop generation. On the serious side , the song "If it wuzn't 4 God", featuring CUPID, shows that the guys are aware that the materialistic side of the music industry is not the most important aspect of trying to get a record deal. L.O.C. understands that all respect must be given to God. This song is the reminder that God's grace is appreciated. L.O.C. continues to work as professionals. They handle all business matters, write, produce and record their own songs. Everyday they bring new ideas to add to their "out of the ordinary" style, showing the world that they aren't afraid to live life aggressively.
