It's Showtime, as the newest young sensation representing Miami explodes on the stage. Born October 23rd 1995, Melton Pete Bowen B.K.A. Lil' Bass was born to perform. When Lil' Bass was only 1 year old he would follow his father, DJ Bass, former pro boxer, now music extraordinaire and owner of Bass-Side Music, to the boxing gym. He would train like his father by hitting the speed bag and getting in the ring. By witnessing this, Angela Bowen knew that her son he would be as tough as his father. Then at the age of 2, he began taking interest in dancing. He learned all the latest dance moves and started doing shows at local schools with DJ Bass. Soon afterwards, he began to win dance contests. Lil' Bass has been around music since the womb! Now 8 years old and in the 2nd grade, Lil' Bass is ready for the spotlight. With his hit single "I'm a Shorty," Pete, as his parents call him, shows everyone why he's called Lil' Bass as he vibrates the crowd in Miami. Opening up for legends such as JT Money and Trick Daddy, Lil Bass proves "age aint nothing but a number" as he holds his weight with the best of them, just like a seasoned veteran.
