Born Eric Johnson considers myself "as well as many others" The renaissance of Hip-Hop. 6yx 5yve is truly gifted enough to express himself in many different ways and does It so that anyone from anywhere regardless of age, race or region can understand his point of view. Outside of being a house hold name in his hometown of Franklin, TN, 6yx 5yve has opened numerous shows for a lot of big names in the industry which includes M.J.G and 8-ball in Mississippi, Ski-Mask in Memphis Tennessee, and Falobous at T.S.U in Nashville Tennessee. Locally, he has headlined The Haunted Hip-Hop fest, rocked The Factory in his home town and left his audience shocked at The Riverstages in Nashville. 6yx 5yve keeps himself busy recording and performing and by doing so, earned the love and respect from nearly every local artist that reaches from Tennessee to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During his time with his former record label "Paperweight Records" 6yx 5yve has completed a duo album with his label mate "Cadence" titled "Til My Death"which featured Smoke Dogg and Brett Andante Elam. Outside of Paperweight records, 6yx 5yve has done a host of collaborations with Crooked Eye Q, Young Caine from "I-65 Muzik" which he considers family as well, Nitty "The Hittman" from "T.K.O Productions", Dirty Boiz from "Str-8 Raw Productions", The Reign from "PushPlay-Productions"which is currently his management team. He has also featured on a host of projects with the label "Str-8 P Records" which based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 6yx 5yve is considered one of the most talented unsigned "far from unknown" artist that everyone wants on their album. His style is much like his size, it stands out in a crowd and can't help but be noticed!! From audiences that ranges from 1,000 to 10,000 screaming fans, no one ever forgets "The Big Fella". He proves his talents to everyone "over the air" as he once held the freestyle championship hosted by Blaz'in 106.7 for quite sometime.
