Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, one of seven children, daughter of an ordained minister, Pastor Marie M. Boone. We were known as the Live Wire Gospel singers we traveled from city to city singing gospel music. I've been writing songs since the age of sixteen. I always wanted to be a professional songwriter, it has been my dream since childhood. I married at the age of sixteen and had seven children. I had to put my career on hold to raise my family. I returned to school to finish my education and continued my career. I was sick and tired of hearing about children being killed, they couldn't go out to play without a stray bullet coming their way and how many kids are hooked on drugs and many have died from using drugs. I asked God to give me a message to represent the children, he gave me two raps titled, What Did They Do To You and Put That In Your Pipe And Smoke It, maybe we can work together to save the children.
