Made Music consists of two members Mr. JB and myself DJ Pain. We are from Charlotte Michigan, a small town right next to Lansing, bout an hour from the "D". Our Debut album is titled "Book 1: Time to Shine", meaning that it's been a long time in the makin' and it's finally time shine. Me and my boy Mr. JB have been best friends for about 11 or 12 years, and makin' music for about the same, ever since the 7th grade. I used to make beats on my computer and he wrote lyrics, then we would record with a Karaoke machine. We've just recently got serious about it within the past 2 years and this will be our first full professional release. Everything we have done has been on our own; about 3 years ago I bought a bunch of beat making and recording equipment. When I first got it I didn't even know how to turn em' on. So I had to teach myself how to use everything. JB didn't even know what bars were, back in the day he would just write until he couldn't think of anything else to say. So he learned about the bars and what's standard for most songs. But this isn't your standard rap album, this is "OUR" Style. It's kind of a "frankenstyle" derived from such influences as Three 6 Mafia, Bone Thugs & Harmony, Esham, NATAS, Twista, Crucial Conflict, Dirty, Do Or Die, Simken Heights, Skinny Pimp, Tommy Wright III, K-Roc, Dr. Dre, Snoop, Eazy-E, West Coast rap, East Coast rap, and the South! So it's hard to put it into one category.
